With a background in instructional design, I combine multimedia production, software training, and analytics to improve learner engagement and business impact.

Hello, my name is Harrison Hartley. I’m an instructional designer with over two decades of experience in multimedia production. I was born and raised in Rhode Island and now live just over the border in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. While I don’t consider myself a “techie” or a “tech enthusiast,” technology has always been a part of my daily life and work. Over the years, I often found myself helping classmates, coworkers, and peers navigate confusing software menus and complicated how-to guides, even when I was learning the tools myself. I tried to approach those moments with patience, clarity, and empathy, and more than once people told me I should teach for a living. That encouragement planted a seed. As an instructional designer today, I take pride in breaking down complex information into clear, bite-sized pieces that are easier to understand. I also believe that real people are on the other side of every training experience, each bringing their own perspectives and experiences. Helping people learn—no matter the subject—is what motivates me, and I’m excited to get started.
